In "Warriors Set Free: Warriors Stories - Mitch Roberts," Mitch shares his journey of transformation and redemption. He had a wonderful upbringing, surrounded by a stable family and a strong faith. However, after high school, he veered off track, immersing himself in the party scene while feeling guilty for not contributing like his peers who joined the military.

Driven by a sense of duty, Mitch enlisted in the Marines and was deployed to Fallujah, Iraq, as a machine gunner. Witnessing the daily dangers and the toll of war on his comrades, he returned home burdened by substance abuse, anger, anxiety, and depression. His struggles led to the breakdown of his marriage and multiple suicide attempts, leaving him at his lowest point.

But it was during his stay at the VA Hospital that Mitch received a lifelineโ€”a book titled "Battlefield of Mine" by Joyce Meyers. Desperate for salvation, he prayed for deliverance, promising to follow God's guidance. Miraculously, his life began to change, and he discovered a deep desire to help other veterans suffering from PTSD and those who felt lost and without direction.

Mitch embarked on an apprenticeship, learning to conduct Freedom appointments with Steve, which proved to be a profound experience of healing and renewal. Through Warriors Set Free, Mitch found a Brotherhood he had lost when he left the Marine Corpsโ€”a community of veterans and believers in Christ who faced their own battles and supported one another. This newfound purpose gave him strength, hope, and the ability to overcome his own challenges.

Today, Mitch's story serves as a powerful testament to the transformative power of faith and community. He invites others who are hurting to seek help through Warriors Set Free, where they can find support, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose. Join the movement and discover the freedom that awaits you.

"Support Warriors - Faith in Action"

Origin of Set Free Ministries (1995): The ministry began after a transformative experience in 1994, where the speaker and Dr. Jeff Stam, both Vietnam veterans, helped a suicidal veteran find healing through prayer and biblical truth. This encounter inspired the creation of Set Free Ministries to offer similar support daily.

Establishment of Warriors Set Free (2014): Steve Prince and the speaker initiated Warriors Set Free, a division of Setree Ministries, with a mission to help veterans and first responders build their faith, heal from past traumas, and achieve spiritual victory, leading to stronger relationships and truthfulness in life.

Key Program - 4-Day Events for Veterans: These events focus on connecting participants with God through fasting, silence, and key teachings based on scripture. They provide a space for veterans to deal with pain and unpack emotional baggage, significantly subsidized to reduce financial barriers for attendees.

Expansion and Inclusivity: The ministry has grown to include women's events, recognizing the unique challenges faced by female military and first responders. It has also expanded geographically, with successful events in Michigan and Georgia, offering transformative experiences in following Jesus.

Vision for Family Healing and Call for Support: Warriors Set Free aims to heal not just the veterans but their entire families, acknowledging the widespread impact of war's hidden wounds. The ministry seeks volunteers and donations, emphasizing the importance of community support in healing the nation's warriors and their families.

In this captivating video titled "Journey of A Warrior - Matt Rinehart, USMC Veteran," we follow the transformative path of Matt Rinehart, a USMC veteran, as he shares his powerful story of resilience and redemption. Growing up in a loving Christian home, Matt enjoyed a typical young man's life filled with sports, outdoor adventures, and a carefree spirit. However, after college, he found himself lost and immersed in a lifestyle of partying and alcohol.

Realizing the need for change, Matt made a life-altering decision to join the Marines, where he excelled in his training, earning recognition and accolades for his dedication. But tragedy struck during a routine activity when a freak accident resulted in the unintentional death of a friend. The weight of guilt, regret, and trauma took a toll on Matt, leading him down a path of self-destruction. He distanced himself from loved ones, lost his job, and battled alcoholism.

Amidst his darkest moments, a fellow veteran named Steve Prince (Director of Warriors Set Free) entered Matt's life and became a beacon of hope. Steve introduced him to a program called Warrior Set Free, which provides support and healing for veterans dealing with emotional and psychological wounds. With Steve's guidance and the transformative power of Warrior Set Free, Matt found the strength to confront his demons, seek help, and embark on a journey of recovery.

Through a life-changing freedom appointment and the camaraderie of fellow warriors, Matt rediscovered his purpose and faith. He now embraces a life of sobriety and is growing as a believer in Jesus Christ. Although the path to healing is not without its challenges, Matt remains committed to his journey, knowing that there is no instant fix but an ongoing process of personal growth.

If you or someone you know is hurting and in need of support, we encourage you to reach out to Warrior Set Free. They offer a safe space for veterans to find solace, healing, and community. Join Matt and others who have found hope through this program. Take the first step and get the help you deserve.
